Quark to Present on Digital Publishing at BookExpo America (BEA)

As a part of the conference, Quark and Baker & Taylor will present “Enhanced e-Books for the Rest of Us.”


At BookExpo America (BEA), North America’s largest gathering of book trade professionals taking place in New York City on May 24 – 26, Quark will be onsite with Baker & Taylor in booth #2724. As a part of the conference, Quark and Baker & Taylor will present “Enhanced e-Books for the Rest of Us,” a session detailing how the two companies have partnered to bring book publishers an affordable way to create richly-designed, interactive e-Books from new and existing content.

Dave White, vice president of alliances and emerging technology for Quark will join Bob Nelson, president of Baker & Taylor’s digital group and Linda Gagnon, senior vice president of digital media services of Baker & Taylor to cover how publishers can:

  • Mitigate the cost of publishing e-Books
  • Eliminate the need for developers and programmers
  • Reach a broad audience across a number of devices
  • Manage distribution and scalability
