Gerber Scientific Products (GSP) has announced that Rodney Larson, senior vice president of Gerber Scientific Inc. will assume leadership responsibilities for the GSP business segment from Stephen Lovass, current president of Gerber Scientific Products. In addition to these new responsibilities, Larson will continue to be President of Spandex Ltd, headquartered in Europe. Spandex is one of the world's leading trade suppliers to the sign making and display industries across Europe and Australia.

Larson has been President of Spandex since 2007 and was President of Gerber Coburn from 2006 to 2007. He has held a variety of management roles in applied technology businesses such as Key Technology and FMC Corporation. Larson's early career included engineering positions at Dow Chemical and Rogers Corporation. Larson's education consists of a BS in Chemistry from Arizona State University; MS in Engineering from University of Missouri-Rolla and MBA from Stanford University.
