Streamlining the workflow, eliminating bottlenecks

EskoArtwork's i-cut Suite ensures a smoother and more cost-effective manufacturing process by cutting out the potential bottlenecks that can stunt productivity. Printers can streamline the whole workflow, from design and prepress to finishing. Print houses are often presented with a range of issues when receiving files - some are inadequately prepared, for example, while others might contain errors or lack crucial information. Identifying and resolving such issues typically means print houses waste time and materials, adding to their costs and damaging profits. The i-cut Suite makes such problems a thing of the past, by addressing them at the very beginning of the workflow. The i-cut Suite is part of the EskoArtwork’s renowned Suite 10 software and comprises three core modules. i-cut Preflight handles the preflighting of incoming PDF data, so that issues are remedied at the start. i-cut Layout addresses layout and nesting, optimizing substrate use and saving printing time, while i-cut Vision Pro ensures that die-less cutting contours perfectly match with the printed images.

Faster structural design to meet brands’ needs

ArtiosCAD is popular the world over and has established itself as the structural design software of choice among designers. Visitors to the FGD Expo will see how designers across the globe are using the software to easily create structural packaging designs and 3-dimensional POP displays. The software offers other key advantages, such as the elimination of communication errors and a shorter design approval process.

ArtiosCAD is also very popular with brands. The software enables fast prototyping, 3D mock-ups and presentations. This puts an end to lengthy design review cycles, ensuring that brands’ products hit the shelves faster.

Cutting through work with precision

The Kongsberg product line of digital finishing products will be on display at FGD Expo. The Kongsberg i-XL 24 is the workhorse of the product line and a best-seller among sign and display companies. The Kongsberg i-XL 24 is a comprehensive finishing solution for the widest range of materials, providing a prefect cut quality, high throughput and outstanding precision. It will be equipped with i-cut 7.0, the latest version of the vision system.
