Nimlok has announced that two if it's Branded Distributors, Nimlok Grand Rapids and Nimlok Orange County were recently recognized as winners in the new Best of Show Series (BOSS) Exhibit Awards program.
Nimlok Grand Rapids received a "Best Systems Exhibit" award for an exhibit produced for their client Chervon at the National Hardware Show, which took place in Las Vegas this past May 10-12, 2011 and attracted over 2,300 exhibitors. The 20x50-foot booth included aluminum and fabric arc structures, four conference rooms, sound dampening fabric walls and two reception counters.
Derrick Johnson, Managing Partner of Nimlok Grand Rapids, said, "When I was approached by Justin Bruursema of Chervon-NA to create something truly radical, we all just smiled and said "game on". It's extremely rare that a client will give you carte blanche to create something truly spectacular. Then, when I got the call from Vince Battaglia with the news of our BOSS nomination, I knew we had made a great impression by creating a truly unique and innovative show stopper."
Nimlok Orange County also received recognition with a "Best '10x20-foot or "Smaller" award for their client, City of San Bernadino, as well as an honorable mention for their client Town of Apple Valley. Both exhibits were showcased at the RECon Show (Global Retail Real Estate Convention) this past May 22-25, 2011 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Launched this past May by B2B Communications, the creator of the TheTradeShowCalendar.com, the BOSS Awards celebrate innovative exhibit design in the tradeshow industry and highlight the best exhibits, designers and producers at premier tradeshows and conventions.
Categories for the BOSS awards include custom exhibits, system exhibits, and 10x20-foot or smaller displays. After launching the program in Las Vegas in May, the BOSS awards plans to target major tradeshow and exhibitions across the US.
"There is so much great design and fabrication work done in the trade show industry that we wanted to create an awards program to showcase this creativity on a continuous basis," said Vincent Battaglia, BOSS' national accounts manager.
Exhibits are nominated by the B2B Communications staff and nominees compete for the BOSS award along with four other competitors in each category. Beginning one week after the conclusion of the Show, industry professionals can then vote for the winning exhibits at www.bossexhibitawards.com.
