Tray, Inc. announced today that they have been awarded a spot on Inc. Magazine’s top 500|5000 list of fastest growing privately held companies. The Inc. team evaluates a company’s past three consecutive years of revenue growth in order to determine which companies make this prestigious list.
“In these challenging economic times, particularly in the print industry, we think this is an outstanding accomplishment,” says Brian Burlace, President of Tray. “There is pricing pressure as our clients’ marketing budgets are slashed, and our entire team has had to work extremely hard these past few years to achieve our growth. This is a remarkable achievement for every one of our employees, and I’m proud of them.” Burlace explained.
“More than ever, this year’s list is a testament to the creativity, resilience, and tenacity of America’s top entrepreneurs,” said the Inc. team in its congratulatory letter. “Winners share this pedigree with notable companies such as Intuit, Microsoft, Zappos, Under Armour, Patagonia, Visa, Oracle and scores of other business powerhouses,” they noted.
The company applied for the Inc. Fastest Growing list last April on the advice of a marketing consultant. Last week, an Inc. 500 box with the announcement and a congratulatory note was delivered to Tray’s offices. “We were stunned and delighted,” says c, CFO of Tray. “I knew we could do it!”
