Printing Industries Association of San Diego Installs 2011-12 Officers and Directors

The Printing Industries Association of San Diego (PIA/SD) has elected Greg Gould, President of Eye/Comm as Chairman of the Board of PIA/SD for his second term. Gould and the 2011-2012 Board of Directors were installed at the association's Annual Meeting in Del Mar last month. In addition to the Chairman of the Board, the other elected officers are: Jim Lakdawala, President of VDP Direct is the association's Vice-Chairman; Brad Reimers, President of SOS Printing is Secretary/Treasurer; and President of Tabs, etc, Chris Hamm is the Immediate Past Chairman.

The directors of the organization installed were Ian Barrow (Blend), Steve Cady (Kieran Label Corp.), T.D. Christian (San Diego Die Cutting), Joel Green (L+L Printers Carlsbad), Paul Moebius (Digital One Printing), Tom Hale (Precision Litho), Robert McDougal (Unisource Worldwide), and Tim Wickers (Imaging Plus). Karen Fulton serves as the president of PIA/SD and Boyd Richardson (RR Donnelley Co., Commercial Press) serves as the PIA National Board Member.

The Board was installed at PIA/SD's annual meeting held on August 19, 2011 at San Diego's Del Mar Race Track. The event kicked-off with beverages, food, and pony races making it a day of business and pleasure. The board members were all sworn in and the Chairman of the Board, Gould, spoke of his thoughts on the future of PIA/SD. "It's an honor to serve as Chairman of the Board for the second consecutive year. I have high expectations for PIA/SD and I look forward to working with industry leaders to provide the resources needed to help businesses better meet their customer's needs and increase their profitability."
