Webscan Announces TruCheck Omni Barcode Verifier

Webscan, Inc., the leading provider of barcode verification solutions, recently announced the launch of the TruCheck Omni.

Due to an increasing demand for offline barcode verifiers with an extra large field of view, Webscan has launched the TruCheck Omni with a field of view up to 6 inches, allowing operators to verify numerous codes at once with a touch of a button. The unprecedented 5 MP camera provides high resolution verification for increased accuracy when it matters the most.

Commenting on the product, Webscan President Glenn Spitz said, “Webscan is pleased to announce the TruCheck Omni as the newest addition to our line of barcode verifiers. From offline hand held units to inline verifiers installed on printing presses, Webscan has the appropriate barcode solution for any business application. TruCheck Omni will live up to our reputation for accuracy while verifying 1D and 2D symbols with X dimensions as small at 7 mil over an entire 6 x 4 inch label.  This is truly the no compromise bar code verifier”.

All of Webscan’s products, including the TruCheck Omni, comply with ISO/IEC and GS1 standards for barcode verification.  The TruCheck Omni’s industry leading technology includes an easy-to-use software interface, solid-state LEDs, and the ability verify any number of linear and two dimensional (2D) codes in the same scan.  Detail and summary reports are generated and stored automatically.
