Duplo Showcases Key Solutions for High Production Printers at GRAPH EXPO 2011

Duplo USA Corporation was at booth #2617 showcasing its latest print finishing solutions for both the digital and offset markets. Having successfully developed a range of on-demand products for short-run work, Duplo's key products at this year's show focus on the needs of the high production printer with the new DBMi Saddle System and the DC-745 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser. Also taking center stage will be the heavy-duty suction collator, the DSC-10/20, and the new Ultra 200A UV Coater, featuring its capabilities to coat both sides of a document with a smear-free finish.

Other products not to be missed are the Foldmaster Touchline CF375 high-speed creaser and folder and a technology showcase for a new on-demand die cut system. Visitors to the booth will also see the System 5000 Collating & Bookletmaking System, the DFS-3500 Full-Bleed Bookletmaking System, the DSF-5000 and DSF-2000 Sheet Feeders along with the CC-228 Card Cutter and Duplo's popular slitter/cutter/creaser line, which include the DC-645 and DC-615 Pro, the DC-645 Integrated Folding System, and the DC-445 Creaser.

DBMi Saddle System: Precision Bookletmaking On Demand

Duplo will be debuting for the first time in the U.S. the DBMi Saddle System, the new heavy-duty, high volume collating and saddle stitch bookletmaking system designed for both offset and digital work. Producing up to 4,500 booklets per hour with superior flatness, the rugged DBMi incorporates the DBM-S Saddle Stitcher with up to six DSC-10/60i Collators and can process short-runs just as efficiently as longer runs to maximize profits. The entire system is operated from one convenient location using the Windows-based PC Controller software.

The DBM-S Saddle Stitcher rapidly transitions from CD-size booklets to letter landscape and up to 14" x 12" books without any manual adjustments required. The optional DKT-200 Two-Knife Trimmer and gutter cutter can be added to produce full-bleed finished books in-line as well as 2-up applications, further increasing the output to 9,000 books per hour. Optional three or four-stitcher head kits are also available.

The DSC-10/60i Collator offers an optional bin extension kit for feeding up to 14" x 24" sheets and an optional intelligent feed function (IMBF) for custom feed applications. Modular in design, the DBMi Saddle System is the next level up in heavy-duty, high volume quality bookletmaking from Duplo.

DC-745 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser: The Ultimate All-in-One Digital Color Finisher

Duplo will be showcasing its most powerful, all-in-one digital color finisher, the DC-745 Slitter/Cutter/Creaser. Performing up to 10 slits, 25 cuts, and 20 creases in a single pass, this high production finisher eliminates white borders and toner cracking on digital color documents up to 50 sheets per minute.
