To show attendees how package design influences consumer buying decisions at the point of purchase, Kodak is sponsoring the Consumer Retail Experience—a new, interactive feature created by Clemson University. Using digital eye tracking technology, students from Clemson University will track what participants look at or were persuaded by as they walk through a simulated retail environment against what they purchase. The Consumer Retail Experience will also include an area where participants can see packages in a virtual retail space. Images will change regularly during the show.

Kodak’s Ron Malloy, Worldwide Director of Growth Initiatives, Business Solutions and Services Group, will be moderating and participating in a Pack Expo Brand Zone panel session on Brand Security. Also on the panel are Denny Belcastro, Executive Vice President, Industry Relations and Collaboration, Grocery Manufacturers Association; Matthew Rhodes, Global Brand Protection Intelligence Analyst, Proctor & Gamble; and Sean Mullin, National Program Manager for Homeland Security Investigations, United States Department of Homeland Security.  The session will take place at 10:15 am on September 27.

Professionals will be available in the Kodak booth at Pack Expo to show samples and talk about the many powerful tools available to improve the packaging process. “We promise not to only talk about only the how and why of production, but we’ll also show how we can offer added value to to the process and how we help customers do more with packaging,” added Anderson.
