Visual Magnetics has announced that the company has expanded sales of its Visual Magnetics Graphic System product line into European markets by opening a distribution center in Rotterdam, The Netherlands and appointing Martin van Golen as its business development manager for Europe.
van Golen brings more than fifteen years of sales & marketing experience in the large format printing business to Visual Magnetics. He previously worked for Epson Europe as marketing manager for professional photo print, Canon Europe CBS, and in various sales and marketing roles with InteliCoat Technologies Europe.
Visual Magnetics began offering its products in Germany in August and van Golen will continue to build a network of certified printers and distribution sales channels, while increasing Visual Magnetics sales support capabilities across Europe.
"We are delighted to have an experienced industry veteran like Martin spearheading our growth initiative in Europe," said Joe Deetz, CEO. "His extensive knowledge of the European digital print business and his in-depth network of print professionals and distributors will be essential attributes driving Visual Magnetics expansion across the continent."
"Visual Magnetics has a truly unique technology that is poised to revolutionize retail displays, so it is very exciting to be involved in introducing Visual Magnetics products into Europe, which is a key growth market for us," said van Golen. "By continuing to add new international retail, printing and distribution channels, we anticipate a substantial increase in Visual Magnetics' worldwide adoption."
