Agfa Graphics to Hold Chicago-area Packaging and Wide-Format Open House

If you're thinking about adding wide-format printing as part of your offerings, or if you think packaging could be the way for you to expand your business, then you should attend Agfa Graphics' open house event in Bloomingdale, IL. The open house is being held at the company's demo facility located at 221 Covington Drive, Bloomingdale, IL, on Wednesday, November 9th and Thursday, November 10th from 10:00 am to 4:00pm.

Various digital inkjet printing systems will be front and center, including engines from Agfa Graphics, HP and Epson. Attendees can also learn about Agfa Graphics' inks, substrates and other production technologies associated with inkjet printing, such as finishing systems, color management tools, web portals and job estimating software. Attendees are encouraged to seek practical information from Agfa's experts on ways to improve production levels and overcome printing challenges.

The packaging area features demos of a variety of systems and packaging-specific tools, including DuPont Cyrel FAST plate making and mounting on JM Meaford mounters. The team will demonstrate Flexo Wash cleaning equipment and the latest technologies and instruments for plate measurement and analysis from Beta Flex.

"This Open House is sure to be one of our best because we are integrating more attendee participation than ever," said Deborah Hutcheson, Director of Marketing, Agfa Graphics, North America. "We are asking our packaging customers to bring their dirty narrow web plates and anilox rolls so we can demonstrate a fast, easy cleaning solution. And our experts are always available to sort through the most challenging of inkjet printing concerns."
