Allegra Network LLC announced that it has received two Gold Awards during the 2011 MarCom Awards international competition for its creative achievement in marketing and communications. The national franchisor was chosen amongst 6,000-plus entries from the United States, Canada and several other countries.
The Gold Award is presented to entries that exceed high standards of excellence and serve as a benchmark for the marketing industry. Allegra Network received the Gold Award in the corporate social responsibility category for its FootPRINT Fund program and in the marketing/promotion/campaign category for its direct mail program for its franchise members.
The FootPRINT Fund is Allegra Network’s community involvement program that provides franchise members a systematic way to award free marketing and print services to local nonprofits in efforts to enhance their image, expand their services and extend their marketing budgets. Allegra Network’s turnkey direct mail program for franchise members was established to generate leads, increase brand recognition and secure business with targeted accounts.
“These awards add significant credibility to our marketing program and further validate the support systems we have in place for our franchise members,” said Jessica Eng, vice president of marketing for Allegra Network, the franchisor of the brands Allegra Marketing • Print •Mail, Signs Now, American Speedy Printing and Insty-Prints.
The MarCom Awards are administered and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals, which is comprised of several thousand creative professionals.
Entries come from corporate marketing and communication departments, advertising agencies, public relations firms and design shops ranging in size from individual communicators to media conglomerates and Fortune 500 companies.
Judges also gave an honorable mention to Marketing Insider magazine, a four-color, quarterly publication used by Allegra Network franchise members as a customer education tool.
