NPTA Alliance Partners with the Association Education Alliance to Provide Training to Warehouse Personnel

The NPTA Alliance is pleased to partner with the Association Education Alliance (AEA) and The Distribution Team to provide operational personnel with a framework to teach essential warehousing functions to their teams.

"Often, the material handling team at privately held distributors receives little or no formal training. Instead, these teams rely on shadowing or on-the-job training which can result in bad habits being passed from employee to employee," said NPTA Alliance CEO, Kevin Gammonley. "The 'Essentials of Profitable Warehouse Operations' training course gives operational managers the tools they need to create their own internal training programs."

Jason Bader, managing partner of The Distribution Team, has presented this course in many U.S. cities. His ability to connect with participants stems from his 20 years of experience in the distribution business, including time spent working in warehouse operations. The Distribution Team specializes in providing excellence in inventory management training, business operations consulting and technology utilization to the wholesale distribution industry.

To keep travel costs down and make this training more accessible to all distribution firms, courses are held regionally in most major U.S. markets. The tuition fee includes the one-day training course, the "Essentials of Profitable Warehouse Operations" manual, and lunch.
