Designed to streamline the way media and print industry professionals collaborate, YEMO has created a suite of solutions designed to give printers, publishers and advertisers a single, cohesive production system and allows them to work and communicate with everyone else – anytime and anywhere via the Internet. And the company is now bringing that system to the United States.
“With the success of Yemo in The Netherlands, it became time to expand into new markets,” explains Bert De Jonge, Managing Director at Yemo. “Bringing the software to the United States made the best sense. Not only is there a common language in what is quite a large geographic area, but, moreso, it’s one of the world’s most important marketplaces, where major trends in software are vetted and proven.”
YEMO demonstrates to media professionals how web-based production tools can increase sales and reduce costs internally, while also increasing productivity and quality. Yemo’s solution consists of various components, including:
YEMO Adspace – provides interaction with advertising clients using an easy online portal, where ads can be booked, invoiced and collected into a single repository. There, they can be fixed, re-engineered, color-managed, placed in a virtual template, soft proofed and even approved. It is a client management portal that is owned, branded and driven by the publisher to minimize back office costs and boost sales.
YEMO Printspace – the perfect solution for US companies looking to move to Web2Print; it offers easy navigation and sales promotion tools, to help convert and retain clients. Printspace reduces overhead and increases sales by providing a self-service environment that streamlines order processing, offering faster time to market and easy reordering.
YEMO Traffic – a structured traffic management environment where workflows, combining powerful productivity tools, are efficiently tracked and traced. These managed workflows save time and enable organizations to collaborate via the Internet. Traffic manages all communication from tasks, to-do lists, and automated notifications to order management and communications with the printer, and provides an interactive dashboard summarizing tasks and actions.
YEMO Copyspace – provides ad editing in self-service portals. Online copy/text editing in InDesign documents integrate with ad workflows. Copyspace provides dynamic copy editing for the journalist and the Copyspace output can be PDF or IDML and can then be integrated into the editorial workflow. Templates using branded elements ensure brand identity is safe and enables the management and use of outside freelance resources from anywhere in the world.
All of Yemo’s solutions are offered as a “software as a service” model, meaning customers don’t have to make significant capital investments in order to implement an e-commerce solution. “Our solutions are meant to be cost effective for owners of both large and small companies, who would like to be able to offer more services to their clients,” adds Cheryl Krueger-Peters, director of US sales.
