The ODM Sidewinder is an automated, on-demand bindery system that’s specifically designed for the Mohawk Panoramic line of i-Tone photo papers. Mohawk paired its exclusive i-Tone digital surface treatment with Tru-Flat cohesive from Convertible Solutions to papers that are easy to bind with the new Sidewinder bindery system.

The Sidewinder eliminates the labor intense process of using hand-operated equipment to produce book blocks for lay-flat photo books. ODM engineers developed an automated, self-contained bindery system that scores, folds, and presses book blocks up to 1.5 inches thick.

The Sidewinder can produce up to 100 Panoramic photo book blocks per hour and is easy to operate with no make ready.

Open: 27” x 14.5” (675 mm x 362.5 mm);

Closed: 13.5” x 14.5” (337.5 mm x 362.5 mm) up to 1.5” (37.5 mm) thick

The new Mohawk proPhoto Panoramic Gloss Pearl finish will be demonstrated on ODM Sidewinder at drupa in Düsseldorf, Germany May 3-16 and BIA Conference in St. Louis, Missouri June 4-6.
