Scodix Reports Success at drupa 2012
This year, Scodix participated in its first drupa.
In March we showed you that Scodix always makes SENSE. This month we made HISTORY! We participated in our first DRUPA conference, and what a memorable, sensational experience it was!
The Scodix team, our customers, partners and friends all contributed to make this the most successful Scodix show ever, and, if we do say so ourselves, probably one of the best shows for any company at Drupa 2012. The Scodix team spirit was clear to see – everyone gave 110% effort engaging prospects, giving samples, and explaining the Scodix SENSE to visitors. Per m2, or per number of team members, Scodix was undoubtedly one of the top exhibitors making an impact at the show. We heard people talking about Scodix, we read what people were writing about Scodix in blogs and magazines, and we saw Scodix samples and Scodix white bags all over Dusseldorf. Scodix was, and is, the name on everyone's lips when describing high value added to print output.

What we at Scodix achieved during DRUPA 2012
- Estimated 30,000 people visited the Scodix booth
- Delivered over 250,000 samples to visitors from around the world. That's almost a sample given away per second of the show time!!!
- Collected over 2,000 business cards of prospective customers, partners, media contacts and more.
- Exposure to tens of thousands of people through movies, RP's, articles, blogs and so much more!
- AND, we are about to increase our customer database thanks to the many newly signed PO's for Scodix S Series Presses at the show.
Really an overall success for all of us!
How did we do it?
The Scodix S74PRO and the Scodix Rainbow worked constantly throughout the whole 14 day show, printing samples that we gave to everyone in a Scodix plastic bag. You can imagine the impact it made and the exposure we got with people walking around holding our white Scodix labeled plastic bags. We will admit that the Scodix Rainbow samples were the hit of the show – the most sparkling, eye-catching, stand-out items a person could see. People were so drawn in by them that they snatched samples straight from the stacker!
We also had over 20 Scodix partners joining in the celebrations, and hosting their country's visitors at the Scodix booth. They promoted the Scodix innovations and now have new deals in progress thanks to the show.
During the show, we hosted a press event, where Kobi, Dror and Ziki presented the Scodix SENSE and our new innovations. Over 60 media people came to listen, including top reporters from all over the world. This generated articles and stories about Scodix in the world news. Some stories about Scodix successes were even featured in the Drupa Daily News! These stories included Acculink upgrading to the Scodix S74, and Samafitro partnering with us in Indonesia, and the purchase of Scodix presses from the show by Graficol in the Netherlands and Rieker in Germany.
And of course we also enjoyed our off-show hours. The great Caipirinha cocktail night provided by RTC, our partner in Germany, and a very emotional and energetic night at the Michael Schumacher carting race track with champions and trophies and lots of testosterone in the air.
And lastly, our loyal Scodix customers, without whom we couldn't have done it.
