Drupa 2012 Fuels the Objectif Lune and PrintSoft Teams

Objectif Lune, leader in providing open software solutions for variable data printing, mail sorting and preparation, document composition and production who acquired PrintSoft almost a year ago, announces outstanding outcome following its presence at drupa 2012.

“Exhibiting at major industry events such as drupa is always a milestone for Objectif Lune” says Didier Gombert, CEO of Objectif Lune. “Seeing our solutions being so much of a key part of our partners’ portfolio and focus, witnessing the sustained growth of the software industry and meeting such enthusiastic existing and prospective end-users provides us with the energy and willpower to surpass ourselves and continue to develop solutions that will help our customers grow their business”.

A global industry player, Objectif Lune took the opportunity of this major European venue to initiate discussions on a range of key industry topics. Visitors that came to the Objectif Lune booth could register to attend a series of presentations ranging in topics from the basics of personalization to the automation of business-critical document processes.

Moreover, key partners and end-users were invited to attend private sessions where the company’s Vice-President of Technology and Product Manager offered a glimpse of upcoming technologies, short and mid-term, for the entire solutions catalog. “Having the opportunity to present and discuss our product strategies and roadmaps with those who are at the forefront in commercializing our solutions in such an open manner is essential to make sure the solutions we develop are in line with market trends and customer needs” says Mr. Gombert. “Feedback from the attendees, both from a technical and commercial standpoint was extremely positive, confirming that we are aiming in the right direction and the questions they raised will allow us to perfect our strategy for the coming months”.

This event was also the first one where the Objectif Lune and PrintSoft teams were showcased as an integrated offering. By having an exhibition area in the drupa Innovation Park for PrintSoft where the company had been exhibiting for several editions of the show, long-time customers and partners could easily have access to their PrintSoft contacts. They also were invited to go to the Objectif Lune booth to meet with the company’s CEO and several other team members. “With the acquisition of PrintSoft, Objectif Lune became the only company able to cover the whole spectrum; from entry-level to enterprise-wide applications. Businesses today need to be creative and implement innovative ways of doing things. And for us, drupa was the perfect occasion to engage conversations on how organizations today need to create new ways of doing business to remain competitive.”

According to the drupa 2012 statistics available on the organization’s web site, over 300,000 visitors attended this year’s event with a majority of them coming from all regions of the world and 40% from Germany. And based on the feedback observed from social medias and blogs, every exhibitor seems to be in agreement that there were more decision makers attending the event.
