Management Institute, an intensive study program for industry executives and managers from NAPL (the National Association for Printing Leadership), will offer courses in four disciplines when it returns to the beautiful Northwestern University campus in Evanston, Ill., August 19-22. Management Institute is widely regarded as a unique industry forum for management training and leadership development–and it is the only hands-on industry educational venue where attendees can learn from experts with broad industry experience providing instruction specifically applied to graphic communications.

Four courses will be offered in this year’s program:
- Sales Management. Lead instructor: Mike Philie, NAPL Vice President and Senior Consultant. Learn how to recruit, compensate, train, and manage a sales force in the digital age.
- Financial Management. Lead instructor: Tim Fischer, NAPL Senior Vice President. Learn how to use financial information to manage sales and operations issues, including pricing, job costing, and capital justification.
- Operations Management. Lead instructor: Gregory D’Amico, Ph.D., Professor of Graphic Communication at Kean University, Union, N.J. Become knowledgeable in executing efficient production systems and procedures, leading change, and creating a customer-centered environment.
- CEO Course. Lead instructor: Robert H. Rosen, President of R.H. Rosen Associates Pittstown, N.J. This course will illuminate how CEOs/company leaders can make their company more competitive and get desired sales and manufacturing results.
