Canon USA to Provide Production Printing Systems to Peak Resources

Canon USA Inc. has announced that it is supplying production printing systems for PEAK Resources, a Denver-based systems integration and print/output distribution company that supports a nationwide network of resellers by offering value-added services including solution assurances for fast start deployments, pre- and post-sales technical support, and Advanced Function Presentation (AFP) application development.

“Adding Canon’s production printing systems to our product line provides our resellers additional opportunities within their existing accounts while opening the door for new growth,” said Vince DeRose, president PEAK Resources. “We are thrilled to be partnering with a company dedicated to quality and innovation in digital imaging solutions.”

As part of the agreement between the two companies, PEAK Resources will initially distribute and support the following Canon offerings in the United States to designated resellers for sale to their mainframe and minicomputer customers:

  • imagePRESS C7010VP series of digital color presses offering a level of image quality that rivals offset printing;
  • VarioPrint 135/120/110 monochrome digital presses, pairing Océ DirectPress technology and Océ PRISMAsync operation management with Canon in-line finishing for a unified solution.
  • imageRUNNER ADVANCE C9075 PRO: high-speed color printing for high-volume light production environments; and
  • imageRUNNER ADVANCE 8105/8095/8085: high speed black-and-white printing and color scanning for high-volume light production environments.

“We look forward to providing PEAK Resources’ resellers with networked production printing solutions for their clients,” said Junichi Yoshitake, senior vice president and general manager, Business Imaging Solutions Group, Canon USA. “This relationship with PEAK will help Canon more deeply penetrate the AFP and intelligent print data streams (IPDS) environments, segments of the market in which our new partner excels.”
