DirectMail.com, a leading provider of integrated direct marketing solutions, is proud to announce that Kirk Swain, Principal, has been elected a Director to the Printing and Graphics Association MidAtlantic (PGAMA) Board of Directors. Swain will serve a one-year term, beginning September 1, 2012, where he will draw upon his 40 years of industry and leadership experience to assist the Board’s efforts to guide the PGAMA over the upcoming year.
PGAMA is the trade association for printing and graphic communications firms and suppliers in the Maryland, Washington, D.C., Virginia and southern Pennsylvania region. The organization’s mission is to enhance members’ profitability and success through a variety of programs including executive development and skills training, regulatory guidance, political advocacy and group benefits packages.
In commenting on his election, Swain shared, “I am honored to be selected for such a prestigious position and look forward to joining my fellow board directors in offering guidance and direction to the PGAMA. Today, more than ever before, it is vital that printing and graphic communications firms obtain the resources they need for business success. I look forward to advancing PGAMA’s mission in whatever way I can.”
Swain also is a current board member of Project Echo, the Calvert County homeless shelter, and the Calvert County Nursing Center, where he serves as treasurer as well. He has previously served on the boards of the Calvert County Chamber of Commerce, ARC of Southern Maryland, Calvert County Lions Club, Calvert County Christmas in April, Calvert County Economic Development Commission, Jefferson Patterson Park and Museum and Calvert Marine Museum and Society.
