The second staging of digi:media, trade fair for commercial publishing & digital printing, is receiving positive feedback from the sector – both for the exhibits part of the event and the diverse specialist program. “The solutions-oriented approach of the congress and the consistent focus on the interests of the different visitor groups is particularly appreciated,” stated Manuel Mataré, Director of digi:media. The event will be held from April 10 – 12, 2013 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.
In line with the motto “content meets technology meets business”, digi:media is designed as a solutions-oriented congress trade fair for cross-media communication covering all media channels. Be it newspapers, magazine, books, corporate publishing, marketing, mailing or advertising campaigns, the successful triad of content, technology and business are always the focus when relevant workflows are required for successful business models. Correspondingly, digi:media is geared towards creative and advertising agencies, print service providers, copy and letter shops, marketing decision-makers and the publishing sector.
The positive feedback from the industry is reflected in the current level of exhibitor registrations: exhibit space has already been sold in the four-digit range. Exhibitors registered so far include apps4print, Esko, FKS, HP, Horizon, Hunkeler, Kinetik, Kolbus, Kollin Mediengesellschaft, Neo7even, Printdata, Ricoh, Scodix, trivet.net and Werk II. An expected 160 exhibitors will participate in digi:media. It is primarily the solutions-oriented workflow approach at digi:media that convinces members of the industry – such as Wolfgang Boretius, Managing Director at trivet.net: “Our aim is to address customers who think in a process-oriented manner and who seek solutions to organize and optimize the marketing management in their companies. Which is why we are delighted to be at digi:media 2013 in order to present trivet.net’s comprehensive “out-of-the-box” solutions to the specific target groups.”
The processing industry also values digi:media’s objectives: “The trade fair’s approach of including not only classic print service providers but also print buyers and content creators is particularly interesting,” commented Jörg Stutz, Managing Director of FKS. Kai Büntemeyer, Managing Director of Kolbus, agreed and as “an exhibitor of the first hour” aimed to “develop an event where content, technology and business models are of equal importance.”
With a strong network of associations, cooperations and media partners, digi:media 2013 will offer a broad-based ancillary program with separate events for all the different visitor target groups. “The conceptual and early involvement of visitor target groups in digi:media is particularly important to us,” said Manuel Mataré. “This also means we can guarantee our exhibitors that their customers will come to digi:media and this in turn has reinforced digi:media’s credibility and acceptance levels.” The following cooperation and media partners will organize specialist events:
