Agfa Graphics (booth #2059) will showcase the capabilities of wide format printing at SGIA by featuring a "blues lounge" almost entirely created with inkjet.
The "Six Strings Classic Blues Lounge" showcases the company's expertise in producing applications that marry its inkjet media portfolio and inkjet equipment. The result is a franchise business that details the best of Agfa and Pitman and offers attendees the chance to experience the potential of inkjet.
The "Six Strings Classic Blues Lounge" is modeled after a New Orleans Jazz nightclub and will be the centerpiece of the booth. Almost every surface, image and promotional item was created using inkjet. Plus, the back office of Six Strings Classic Blues Lounge is where attendees can see the benefits of the new :Apogee StoreFront cloud-based web-to-print solution. :Apogee StoreFront allows Six Strings' management to replenish branded printed materials, paper goods, ad promotion and other consumable and decor items on demand directly from their print service provider.

The :Anapurna M2540 FB is an entry-level high-speed flatbed, UV-curable inkjet printer for graphic screen printers, photo shops and sign shops. The :Anapurna M2050 is a high-speed, six-color plus white, UV-curable inkjet printer, designed to give users a cost-effective solution for display printing. It has eight print-heads, 8192 nozzles, and the ability to print in both uni- and bi-directional modes without compromising speed or quality. With a maximum resolution of 1440 dpi, the :Anapurna M2050 accommodates rigid materials to 6.5' x 9.5' and rolls to 6.5' wide and is optimized at 247 ft2/hour for print output.
