HP Scitex FB7600 Industrial Press owners can upgrade their existing systems with the HP Scitex FB7600 Industrial Press Upgrade Kit. The new offerings are expected to be available worldwide on Nov. 1.
HP Scitex TJ8600 Industrial Press owners can upgrade their existing systems with the HP Scitex TJ8600 Industrial Press Upgrade Kit. The new POP print mode is available now and the media upgrade is expected to be available worldwide on Dec. 15.
The 3M™ MCS™ Warranty will be available with HP LX610 Latex Inks in November 2012 and HP 792 Latex Inks in February 2013 for finished graphics produced by customers that have completed 3M’s certification process. HP at SGIA 2012
At SGIA, HP will produce posters for nonprofit organization 826 National on HP Latex and UV-curable flatbed printers. 826 National provides education services for under-resourced students through a network of eight writing and tutoring centers across the U.S. 826 will sell the HP-printed materials in its retail stores, helping to raise funds in support of its nationwide chapters.
Xavier Garcia will participate in the SGIA Master Class panel discussion titled “Directions in Wide-Format Equipment Development” on Thursday, Oct. 18, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. PDT in room N115. Garcia and other industry suppliers will discuss key factors contributing to the design of printing systems and share their vision for the printing industry’s future.
Josh Hope, application specialist, HP Scitex, will present a seminar titled “ICC Profiles: To embed or not to embed, that is the question” on Saturday, Oct. 20, from 12 to 1 p.m. PDT in booth 147. The session will address the role of input profiles and color working spaces from a raster image processor and desktop publishing application perspective.
