Tess Ventress Joins TAPPI as TAPPISAFE Program Director

Tess Ventress has joined TAPPI as Program Director of the TAPPISAFE safety orientation program. TAPPISAFE, a service of TAPPI offered in partnership with Alliance Safety Council, provides an effective, standardized safety testing and orientation program for contractors and suppliers and is designed specifically by and for the pulp, paper and packaging industries.

“I’m very pleased to welcome Tess Ventress to TAPPI as Program Director for TAPPISAFE,” said Eric Fletty, TAPPI Vice President of Operations. “Her strong leadership skills and in-depth experience in industrial safety orientation programs will serve her well as she leads implementation of this growing program. Since its inception, the industry has shown strong support for TAPPISAFE and the program will continue to grow under her leadership.”

Ventress has been involved with standardized training for multiple industries. For the last seven years she has worked closely with the utility industry and was instrumental with the development and marketing of a standardized safety orientation program called PowerSafe. Ventress will be based out of Baton Rouge, LA.
