Konica Minolta Sensing Americas, Inc. (KMSA) has announced the support of its FD-Series Spectrodensitometers by CyberChrome's OnColor Color QC and Color Matching Software.
Released in 2011 the FD-Series Spectrodensitometers were the first spectrodensitometer on the market to correspond to the ISO 13655 M1 standard for fluorescence and color measurement. A firmware upgrade recently released further enhances the usability and operational capabilities of this world class spectrodensitometer with 11 new features and improvements.
With the inclusion of the FD-Series in CyberChrome's OnColor Color QC and Color Matching Software, users in the printing and packaging industry have a versatile and easy to use solution of hardware and software to color match inks and provide ink formulations. The FD-7 offers excellent repeatability, accuracy and consistency required for today's cutting edge ink formulation labs. Both the device and software offer intuitive features such as proper color space selections, illuminants, pass/fail inspections, report generation and data export, which make the operators more comfortable and productive.
"CyberChrome has been working with Konica Minolta Sensing for over 20 years. We are pleased to see the tradition of manufacturing high quality, high accuracy instruments has extended into this class of spectrodensitometers with the FD Series. The latest version of our OnColorâ„¢ software includes a full integration of the FD-7 instrument providing users with an affordable, accurate system for measuring, matching and controlling the color of inks and packaging", states Myron Langer, President and co-founder of CyberChrome, Inc.
