For 100 years now, the traditional German company Heytex has been supplying the global market with high-quality coated fabrics and textiles for most diverse fields of appli-cation. The portfolio was subsequently supplemented by laminated products. In the core business of sign media for large format digital print, Heytex presents two innovative novelties in the company’s anniversary year at Fespa 2013 in London: PVC-free HEYTex digitex decoflex knitted fabric as well as the premium indoor textile HEYTex digitex eclipse as the first foam-coated blockout with a maximum width of 5 m.
Since 2010, Heytex has been setting the standards on the sign market with its PVC-free, environmentally-friendly and completely recyclable HEYTex digitex range. This product range, including more than 16 different ecologically sustainable textiles, will be expanded by two additional products at Fespa 2013, which will cause a stir amongst their users.
Consequent portfolio expansion in the field of textiles
HEYTex digitex decoflex is a new decorative fabric on polyester basis – flexible and elastic, tear-resistant and stable, 200 g/sqm light and as a matter of course flame-retardant in accordance with B1 and M1 standards. It was developed for print with dyesub inks, can be pro-cessed with silicone welt, easily folded and packed by taking up a minimum amount of space to be dispatched. Thus saving shipping costsand ensuring a safe antransport. The new decorative fabric convinces at fair stands and points of sale by its brilliant and first class reproduction of print motifs.
This makes decoflex the ideal medium for short-term use at events, but also in showrooms. It is available in widths of up to 3.05 m. As a consequent extension of the digitex range, especially in the field of entry-level price products, HEYTex digitex decoflex ensures that customers can continue to rely on the well-proven Heytex quality in all price segments and fields of applications of digital print.
Premium blockout with foam coating up to 5 m width
HEYTex digitex eclipse is the first fabric with high-quality foam coating available in 5 m widths. Owing to its extremely matt and opaque surface structure and translucency of below two percent, such prints distinguish themselves by a very special elegance. This is achieved by the innovative combination of foam coating on the front and black coating on the back.
HEYTex digitex eclipse is absolutely reflection-free and offers optimal flatness – as ideal wall cover, ceiling suspension, bonded wall covering, advertising medium in display systems, wallpaper or projection surface. Eclipse reliably covers any background and en-sures seamless, large-format premium applications of extreme brilliance and detail reproduction, even in strong light (e. g. head-lamps or TV camera light). It is appropriate for one-sided print with UV and latex inks and as a matter of course it is flame retardant in accordance with B1 and M1 standards.
In addition to these two novelties, Heytex will present numerous additional highlights of its sign portfolio for indoor and outdoor applications at Fespa 2013 in London.
Premium backlit in an impressive 5x5 m lightbox
The probably most impressive Heytex Fespa exhibit 2013 is a 5x5 m lightbox, equipped with a seamless digitex Heylux backlit textile. This PVC-free, highly translucent backlit is the first of its kind in widths of 5m. With this textile, Heytex provides unprecedented possibilities for efficient lightbox advertisement applications: this new 5 m textile practically removes dimensional restrictions of the so far available fabric formats for modern LED lightboxes and adds an excellent and new dimension to them. The Heytex fair exhibit de-monstrates this in a unique and convincing manner.
