"Profitable Print - same turnover, more profit" will be the theme for the technotrans stand at China Print in May. The company is proud to promote the stamp "Made in Germany", believing its expertise in pressroom consumables manufactured in Sassenberg can really help printers operate more efficiently and more profitably.
There are a number of examples of cost reduction. Take dampening solution filtration. It reduces the amount of chemistry used, reduces waste disposal and reduces time spent on cleaning and maintenance. Likewise central, automated barrel-based ink supply systems improve efficiency, leave less residue and eliminate tin or cartridge disposal. It means printers can print more productively and to high quality. Pressroom conditions can be improved by using water cooled peripherals through to complete central water cooling systems.
There is a long list of printing ancillaries that can markedly reduce costs and technotrans has a comprehensive portfolio of them to help customers of all sizes. The supplier's slogan "Same turnover, more profit" aims to convince print shops of the commercial sense of using their solutions. It can provide an extensive list of users gaining this advantage using their products.
Peter Böcker, Sales Director of technotrans AG, says that the focus at China Print 2013 in Peking is slightly different. "In this price-sensitive market many companies focus on investment costs but that is just one side of the coin. Technotrans, like other bespoke German machine suppliers, provides the security of the marque "Made in Germany" which is synonymous with extremely high service standards provided globally that go with that. Forward-thinking businessmen know that they must invest in process optimisation in order to produce more cost-efficiently in the long run. Apart from providing equipment with outstanding service life, the equipment is supported by professional, trained personnel. This serves to provide the right payback, a cost of ownership that justifies the initial capital cost."
Among the highlights on display at the technotrans stand in China Print 2013 is:
- Automated and central ink supply for offset presses
- Spray dampening technology for newspaper printing
- delta.f filtration, a consumable-free cross flow filtration system that repeatedly uses the return-flow from the dampening systems
- The semi-automatic ink.dos ink dosing system which can mix almost any special colour in-house cost-efficiently and in precise measures
Completing the display from technotrans is a selection of refrigeration systems for both offset printing and digital printing. These systems start off with the compact cooler P1020 which is not much larger than a standard PC. This stabilizes production in small format digital printing and is also suitable for laser cooling applications. Other models on show are suited to the mid format market, for digital or conventional printing, and even for large format digital printing where the professional advice, project management, installation and commissioning expertise are key selling points.
"For the emerging industrial digital printing market the comprehensive worry-free technotrans package resulting from the deep knowledge and decades of experience of our experts gives us an advantage unmatched by our competition," says Böcker.
