Interactive Print Virtual Training Series Announced by IDEAlliance

IDEAlliance, a leading developer of best practices and specifications for print and electronic media, has announced the availability of a virtual training series for print, premedia, and creative service providers, on how to take advantage of new technologies in interactive print. The series, Create, Manage, and Grow with Interactive Print, is a 3-part training event presented in 90-minute sessions on October 25, November 1 and 8, 2013, and then recorded for later viewing from the IDEAlliance Virtual Training Library.

Led by instructor and interactive technology expert, John Puterbaugh, founder of Nellymoser, this online training series will provide an overview of interactive print and then offer in-depth case studies, instruction, and analysis on such technologies as 2D barcodes, watermarking, image recognition, augmented reality, near field communication, and much more. The first session on October 25, 2013, will provide an overview of interactive print along with definitions and terminology, while presenting numerous examples from publishing, packaging, direct mail, events and retail. The November 1, 2013 session will walk through how to create and setup complete print to digital campaigns. The concluding session on November 8, 2013, will cover interactive print best practices and describe how to measure and calibrate the performance of a print to digital initiative.
