Contex to Premiere HD iFLEX, Nextimage 4 at SGIA Expo

Contex will premiere the HD iFLEX A2/C-size flatbed scanner at SGIA Expo, October 23-25, in Orlando, FL. The recently introduced HD iFLEX is an intuitively designed scanner that combines speed and versatility to capture originals of varying size, thickness, and fragility. The newest edition of Nextimage 4 complements the HD iFLEX by enabling users to double the scanning capacity of the flatbed from A2/C-size to A1/D-size. Contex will demonstrate the HD iFLEX, Nextimage 4, and new ergonomically designed stands, along with the Canon imagePROGRAF W8400 wide format printer at National / AZON Equipment booth #843.

"The response to Contex's new products has been overwhelmingly positive," states Richard Gigl, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, National / AZON Equipment, a Contex reseller that specializes in providing resellers with the best-suited wide format scanning solutions for the technical print and graphics market. "SGIA Expo provides a great opportunity to showcase Contex's new flatbed scanner and software, allowing attendees to see first-hand how easy it is to capture rigid material and fabric in such stunning detail."

"We're very excited to premiere the HD iFLEX and Nextimage 4 at SGIA Expo. The Expo provides an excellent opportunity for attendees to experience the vast scanning capabilities of our newest technologies," comments Steve Blanken, General Manager, Contex North and South America.

The HD iFLEX uses innovative features to bring adaptability, exceptional image quality, and maximum efficiency to demanding imaging environments. Its single CCD camera captures oversized originals and delivers vivid images without any stitch errors. Combined with Nextimage 4, users save time with new features including "instant on" and SnapScan, a Scan-Enhance-Save capability that eliminates the need to rescan after modifications are made. The HD iFLEX is also PageDrop-enabled, allowing users to send scans from the HD iFLEX to specified web destinations via smartphone or tablet without a computer or other software.
