Unisource Worldwide Releases 2013 Sustainability Report

Unisource Worldwide, Inc. has published its 2013 sustainability report, Sustainability Reimagined. The report covers key sustainability objectives for Unisource, including the company’s environmental and social performance and sustainable governance guidelines.

“At Unisource, sustainability means much more than conducting operations in a socially and environmentally responsible manner,” said Andrew Gustyn, Director of Sustainability for Unisource Worldwide. “We have been operating with a focus on sustainability since the company was founded.  In the spirit of our theme, Sustainability Reimagined, this report tells the story of our ongoing efforts to make sustainability a smart business decision.”

Included among the objectives in the report are:

  • The evaluation of all Unisource facilities through the Energy Star Portfolio Model.
  • The pursuit of Energy Star certification for Unisource Worldwide buildings.
  • Launch of the company’s proprietary Green Gauge LEED EB:O&M reporting tool into the Canadian market.
