Global Imaging has announced the addition of David Dawson as Technical Services Manager, and Leslie Herrmann as Workflow Studio Production and Application Specialist to its technical services and support team.
As Technical Services Manager, Dawson will be responsible for building an expert technical team through developing and implementing a strategic training curriculum. He will also have overall supervision of customer support efforts, ensuring that teams of individuals are technically trained and can efficiently and professionally provide installations and technical support for Global’s entire portfolio of wide and grand format equipment. Dawson has extensive experience as a technical support manager, customer service manager and call center director in various IT and software companies throughout Colorado. He has worked closely with engineers, designers and developers to troubleshoot customer problems and has built top-performing support teams while managing technical training processes and functions.
In her position as Workflow Studio Production and Application Specialist, Hermann will be responsible for the maintenance of all equipment, the production of all samples and assist in the on-site selling efforts of Global’s Workflow Studio, a state-of-the-art demonstration facility that houses a variety of grand format printing equipment, cutters and software. With a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Communications, Hermann has managed and overseen the efficient operation and maintenance of all printing and production equipment at various printing companies. She also operated large presses and printers and was responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining inventory and product development.
