Sawgrass Technologies and ChromaLuxe teamed up for a charity project for the Lowcountry Food Bank in Charleston, SC. Both companies donated their time and products to help decorate the Food Bank facility for its 30 year anniversary celebration.
Using Sawgrass sublimation ink, 21 photos of Food Bank volunteers, supporters, and children's programs participants were transferred onto ChromaLuxe 20x30 panels. The Lowcountry Food Bank team was blown away with the photo panel quality. One of their staff members noted:
"Those photos are more amazing on metal than a normal photo." They were eager to display the photos throughout the building and conference room before the 30 Year Anniversary of Fighting Hunger event which was held on September 12th.
Lowcountry Food Bank's mission is to feed the poor and hungry of the ten coastal counties of South Carolina by soliciting and distributing healthy food and grocery products to nonprofit agencies serving the poor, and to educate the public about the problems of and solutions to domestic hunger. This year the Lowcountry Food Bank will distribute over 20,000,000 pounds of food.
