As previously announced, and especially for the occasion, Derprosa Film surprised those attending Luxe Pack with a noteworthy visit related to their SoFT TOUcH product.
A lookalike of the Formula 1 driver Fernando Alonso appeared with the slogan ‘Original or Copy?’. Dressed in the company’s colours, he gave out invitations to people attending the event.
This action emphasized the fact that SoFT TOUcH is a unique product, created and developed by Derprosa Film’s R&D Department, making it clear that some other films which are an attempt to imitate our levels of finish and texture are just copies, without the value of the original.
During the show, a large number of visitors came to our stand to find out more about the new films presented by Derprosa. On this occasion it was in the ELEGANCE range where new possibilities were offered, with two new films:
“Elegance Gold, a golden film, and Silver Matt, metallic coloured, both with matt finishes.”
Two features are worth highlighting: their impressive capacity to act as backgrounds for printing and also their usability, since they are films that can be easily varnished, printed, glued and stamped regardless of the type of material they are applied to.
As with our other products, these finishes make it possible to exceed the limits imposed by traditional printing processes. They are films which have special colours that can make the printing quality and colour effect seem greater, offering really spectacular results. Furthermore, in the case of the ELEGANCE range, the possibility exists of adding varnishes or stampings or even gluing them, after they have been laminated.
At the Derprosa stand, as well as these new films, there was space for the others that the company offers the luxury packaging market. We are referring to, for example, the Metallized range, films with metallic colours that do not require the use of metallic inks; or the SoFT TOUcH film with its silky finish, original to Derprosa as we have already pointed out, which offers a finish with several advantages, as visitors were able to appreciate.
To make clear the value that Derprosa films can add to packaging, not only the films themselves were shown: applications of them on different packagings were also exhibited. This meant that those present could see the films and also the results of their application.
The applications displayed included a number of very different kinds, showing the perfect finishes that Derprosa’s films give to folding cartons, cases and rigid boxes.
With the success of Luxe Pack Monaco 2013 and the excellent welcome extended to Derprosa’s films at this trade fair, the company is continuing to strengthen its presence among the top levels of the cosmetics, perfumery, jewellery and gourmet gastronomy industries, internationally.
