InfoTrends has Barb Pellow, Group Director of Business Development Strategies Service, and Jim Hamilton, Group Director of Production Printing and Media, speaking this week at the 2014 Dscoop Annual Conference – Break the Mold. This event will be held March 6-8, 2014 in Orlando, FL.
Pellow will present two sessions on Friday, March 7th. Her first session, Large Format: At the Center of Cross Media, will focus on how grand format signage is effectively blended with augmented reality, Near Field Communications (NFC), social media, and mobile codes to take grand format into the realm of cross media. “Signage is everywhere, and successful marketers are leveraging point of purchase displays, billboard, and vehicle wraps to create an interactive dialogue with consumers,” says Pellow.
Pellow’s second presentation, How Does Your Financial Performance Measure Up?, will be delivered with Mike Duggal from Duggal Visual Solutions, Inc. This session will give attendees a benchmark on how their companies are performing in comparison to other Dscoop companies in terms of financial performance (benchmark profitability, sales per machine, commission rates, etc). Pellow will also provide updates on the latest results of InfoTrends’ global surveys to help identify market opportunities, customer needs, and trends.
Hamilton will be moderating a panel session titled Taking Full Advantage of B2 Format. This session brings together early users of the HP Indigo 10000, which offers digital capabilities in a format size that has (until now) been ill-served by cut-sheet digital printers. Hamilton will lead off the presentation with an overview of the production digital market requirements that have resulted in numerous product announcements or technical demonstrations of larger format cut-sheet digital. He will then introduce a panel of HP Indigo 10000 users who will discuss their experience with the product and how they are leveraging its capabilities in new and exciting ways.
