In a panel discussion, "The Evolving Print Firm," three local printing executives will share where their companies are heading and how they envision the print industry of the future. Panelists will include: Al Carrero, Owner/Partner-President Operations and Finance of Hudson Printing; Paul Hvizda, Vice President of Operations at Admiral Products, Inc.; and, Tom Weber, President of CardPak.
In another profit opportunity-focused session, Don Carli, President of Nima-Hunter will inform PRIMIR attendees about new market opportunities in "Functional Printing, Printed Electronics, Active/Intelligent Packaging & Sustainability."
The PRIMIR 2014 Summer Meeting will also be packed with data and content from two new PRIMIR studies. "Tag & Label Printing Trends" research findings will be addressed by Jennifer Dochstader and David Walsh, Founding Partners of LPC, who conducted the PRIMIR research. Another new, timely PRIMIR study presentation, "Print Applications: Revenues, Processes and Run Lengths in Commercial Printing," will examine findings from I.T. Strategies' research presented by Mark Hanley, President.
Other highlights of the meeting include a VIP tour of local package printing establishment, Tap Packaging Solutions. Plus, a signature component of every PRIMIR meeting is time on the program for members to take part in sessions to weigh in on current and future PRIMIR research studies. In Cleveland, attendees will discuss a wide range of newly suggested topics including: flexography, direct mail, industry consolidation, wide-format printing, books, and global food packaging.
PRIMIR meetings are conducted in a dynamic interactive forum with industry managers and experts from across the graphic communications industry. According to Frances Cicogna, Manager, Product Marketing, Canon USA Inc., "PRIMIR research identifies early market trends and provides essential guidance to position our organization for imminent opportunities and challenges. By attending these meetings and actively participating in the research process, I can be assured that my company's questions are addressed in future PRIMIR research."
