KBA North America announces that All Packaging Company, a leading folding carton manufacturer headquartered in Aurora, Colorado, is continuing its successful growth with the aid of its KBA Rapida 106 41-inch seven-color press. Since its installation, the press has posted millions of impressions.
“All Packaging Company has been fortunate enough to have doubled our sales in the last five years,” says Kenneth Pepper, president of All Packaging Company. “We are currently supplying packages to the medical device and pharmaceutical, health and beauty, food and beverage, technology and business, pet supplies, and entertainment and recreation markets and shipping to both eastern and western Canada, Mexico, and much of the U.S. And by investing in the latest equipment technologies, such as our KBA Rapida 106 press, we still have the same number of employees as we had five years ago. We go out of our way to understand our customers’ business challenges so that we can deliver the products and services that they need to succeed in their markets. Our customers' success is the reason that All Packaging Company has grown and it is the benchmark by which we evaluate our employees and our overall company performance."
Since its launch, KBA’s high-tech Rapida 106 continues to be the world champion in makeready and the most productive press in its class. A key unique feature of All Packaging Company’s press includes the KBA QualiTronic color-control system, which measures densities in line on each sheet at maximum production speed; this system eliminates time-consuming manual comparisons and reduces start-up waste. QualiTronic is a camera-based inline sheet-inspection system that scans each sheet and compares it with a reference sheet.
“KBA has invested continuously in the improvement of printing press performance, creating the capability of higher running speeds, faster make-readies, and lower scrap rates,” says Pepper.
