Holiday Photo Experience Providers Choose DNP Dye-Sublimation Printers for Family Souvenir Packages

The Noerr Programs, founded in 1981 by Judy Noerr, provides more than 3.5 million families with the Santa and Easter Bunny photo experience each holiday season. As a digital imaging and marketing company, Noerr employs more than 300 professional Santas in over 250 shopping centers and venues throughout the country and deploys onsite-printing services to provide guests with special photo memories of the experience. For the past five years, the Noerr team has relied on DNP’s award-winning DS40 dye-sublimation printer at their holiday photo experiences in locations such as New York City’s famous Plaza hotel.

The Noerr Programs provides its clients with a turnkey marketing operation that includes the Santa Photo Experience as well as the cast, technology, and print media. The company deploys DNP’s DS40 printer for their signature “Santa’s Favorite” photo package that includes one 5”x 7”, one 3.5”x 5”, and two wallet size photos.

“At a minimum, we have two DNP DS40 printers per site with some locations using as many as three,” said Michael Wood, Director of Operations at The Noerr Programs. “We use at least one printer per viewing station and the DS40 is more than capable of handling the workload at any station. DNP’s printers have proved to be a crucial aspect of our business because of the beautiful prints, the versatility of the media and the durable, compact hardware.”

Space is a valuable commodity at many of the company’s holiday photo experiences. The company relies on the DS40’s space-efficient footprint of only 12.6-inches wide by 14-inches deep by 6.6-inches to save space at their venues and can stack the printers when necessary for high volume printing.

“The DS40 prints vibrant colors and allows us to offer photos in high gloss or matte finish options,” explained Wood. “Each photo is printed with a lamination coating that provides resistance to fading, fingerprints, and dust ensuring our customers their memories will last for decades to come.”

Additionally, The Noerr Programs will begin to deploy DNP’s DS80 dye-sub printer, for 8”x 10” and 8”x 12” photos, at its venues throughout the holiday season. Paired with the DS40, the two printers provide the company with a highly reliable and cost effective onsite printing solution that offers customers a wide-range of photo options.
