Amid company-wide growth and development, the Sign & Graphics Division of Alliance Franchise Brands recently announced the addition of new staff members during the first half of 2014, including:
Chris Miller, Field Support Representative: Chris Miller joins the Technology department in the Division and will be providing support to each of the brands in the Sign & Graphics Division, as well as corporate staff. Prior to joining Alliance Franchise Brands, Miller worked at the Signs By Tomorrow - Owings Mills location as production manager.
Jessica York, Business Support Representative: Jessica York provides franchise member support in general bookkeeping and QuickBooks start-up. She is responsible for the monthly collection of new member financial records for review. York previously served as a small business Loan Officer and has held multiple positions in the banking industry. With an associate aegree in accounting, York is currently working on her bachelor’s degree in accounting.
Evan Yaffe, Field Support Representative: Evan Yaffe joins the Technology department in the Division and will be providing support to each of the brands in the Sign & Graphics Division, as well as corporate staff. Yaffe’s past experience includes providing technical support for internet and mobile connected devices.
Dennis Kritzmacher, Account Representative: Dennis Kritzmacher works in the Division-owned Image360 center in Columbia, MD. As an account representative, he is responsible for facilitating projects and managing accounts for Image360 – Columbia clients. Prior to joining Alliance Franchise Brands, Kritzmacher spent seven years in the United State Air Force and worked as a sales representative in multiple industries. He also has experience in franchise ownership and the signage and graphics industry.
Jeremy Russell, e-Learning Specialist: Jeremy Russell is the lead on virtual learning implementation and support. Working with the training department, he is responsible for building the e-Learning foundation to provide 24/7 access to educational programs throughout the Sign & Graphics Division. He previously served as STEM educator and instructional designer for seven years in the Baltimore and Hartford County, MD, school system. He holds a master’s degree in instructional design with a concentration in human performance and training.
Chris Siegle, Graphic Designer: Siegle works in the Division-owned Image360 center in Columbia, MD. As a graphic designer, he is responsible for developing and producing visual communications for Image360 – Columbia clients. He holds a Bachelor of Science in digital arts and design. His past experience includes design work for Mid-Atlantic Sign Solutions in Owings Mills, MD. In addition, he is the past winner of a NASCAR pace car design contest and has sold rights to a personal project to FX Networks.
Crystal Turner, Product and Services Group Coordinator: Turner serves as the new Products & Services Coordinator for the Products & Services Group. Crystal's main responsibilities include interacting directly with franchise members and external suppliers to provide logistics support for large projects. In addition, she will be directing RFP review. Prior to joining the Division, Turner worked with RR Donnelley for three years as an Account Specialist.
Crystal Welch, Regional Director: Welch serves as a Regional Director for the Sign & Graphics Division, assisting franchise owners with center growth, software applications and overall business mentoring. Welch has more than ten years of experience in the sign and graphics industry, including time as a salesperson, franchisee and an area representative. After starting out as co-owner of a sign business in Wilmington, NC, she went on to become the sales and marketing representative for a national sign franchise in North Carolina. She has also worked as an outside salesperson in the signage industry.
Autumn Biddinger, Business Support Specialist: Biddinger serves as the lead on QuickBooks education, support and CoreBridge POS sync. In addition, she reviews new owner financials on a monthly basis to ensure accuracy and establish best financial practices. Biddinger brings experience in several facets of small business support including Chart of Accounts development, accounts payable/receivable, financial analysis and employee benefits management/supervision. She served as staff accountant for three acquisition companies within the District Photo brand. Biddinger holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration and certification of financial accounting.
Cierra Woodard, Marketing Coordinator: Woodard joined Signs Now (one of the three sign brands in the Division) as the marketing coordinator. Her primary focus is to edit and develop various documents such as newsletters, blogs and marketing communications, as well as to improve the brand’s social networking accounts. Prior to joining Signs Now she worked with the Maryland House of Delegates (District 44b) as their marketing and public relations assistant. She holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Towson University.
Britney Lodato, Marketing Services Coordinator: Lodato is the Marketing Coordinator for Signs By Tomorrow and is responsible for customizing and deploying all email marketing pieces and social media posts for individual franchise members. In addition, Britney assists franchise members in populating their websites and various other marketing needs as they arise. Prior to joining the Division, Lodato worked for a print company in Western Maryland where she assisted with various marketing tactics, including marketing research and content management.
Zach Buhrman, Communications Specialist: Buhrman joined the Sign & Graphics Division as the Communications Specialist. In his role, Buhrman manages the weekly and quarterly franchise member communications. In addition, Buhrman assists all brands in their content development needs, including writing case studies, whitepapers, blogs and formal letters. Prior to joining the Division, he worked for a boutique publisher as the Director of Communications and oversaw all aspects of the marketing and communications departments.
