HP has announced that its HP Designjet L65500 Printer was awarded the Gold Medal at the POLIGRAFIA International Fair of Printing Machines, Materials and Services in Poznan, Poland.
The Gold Medal is awarded to the best products exhibited at the fair. Awarded since 1979, the PIF Gold Medal has a tradition and reputation that makes it one of the most prestigious awards in the industry.
The HP Designjet L65500 Printer was exhibited by DigiPrint Sp.zo.o., HP's "preferred partner" in Poland.
"Apart from recognizing the major innovation of HP Latex Inks in the wide format market, the influence that the Gold Award has on sales decisions in the region is considerable," said Marcin Wójcik, HP sign & display partner account manager for Poland, Czech Republic and Slovakia.
The HP Designjet L655000 Printer, launched at drupa 2008, has attracted attention and awards for its contribution for printing with the environment in mind, as well as its ability to print solvent in quality graphics at high speeds.
"There is no doubt that the HP Designjet L65500 Printer is something special," said Edward Godawa, board member, DigiPrint. "There was considerable interest in the printer before it won this award, and we are very pleased that the award will bring this printer to the attention of a much wider audience that can benefit from its capabilities."
The HP Designjet L65500 Printer is available from DigiPrint, which has office in Warsaw, Poland.
