LexJet's Simple Adhesive Vinyl SUV is a new 5-mil adhesive-backed vinyl that can be used to produce a wide variety of signs and graphics on large-format inkjet printers that use solvent, low-solvent, and UV-curable inks. Priced like an economy vinyl, LexJet Simple Adhesive Vinyl provides the longer-term durability, photographic image quality, and easy-handling properties typically associated with more expensive, intermediate vinyls.
At 5 mils, LexJet Simple Adhesive Vinyl is thicker than comparably priced products and easier to print and install. The permanent adhesive forms a lasting bond to all popular types of sign substrates. Graphics printed on LexJet Simple Adhesive Vinyl SUV can last from three to five years outdoors.
LexJet Simple Adhesive Vinyl is available in gloss and semi-matte finishes, in roll widths of 37 inches, 54 inches, and 61 inches.
Because Simple Adhesive Vinyl SUV is so affordable, versatile, and durable, graphic producers can substantially reduce their inventory costs.
"With Simple Adhesive Vinyl, it is unnecessary to stock both an economy vinyl for graphics that will only be displayed a few weeks and an intermediate-priced vinyl for signs that need to last three to five years," said Dione Metnick, product manager, LexJet. "Plus, the 37- and 61-inch-wide rolls can reduce waste and improve efficiency by making it possible to produce graphics that are a full three-feet or five-feet. wide on printer models that don't print edge-to-edge."
