Ultraflex Systems Inc. debuted some new and exciting products at the recent SGIA show in New Orleans.
The show-stopping products for Ultraflex were Limelight and Descor and Ultraflex was honored with the Specialty Graphic Imaging Association (SGIA) Product of the Year award in the Media-Paper category for Limelight.
Limelight is an environmentally friendly tree-free paper/mineral based substrate. It is made from Limestone and is produced without the use of water or toxic bleaching chemicals. Its production requires 50 percent less energy than traditional paper. It is a durable, water-resistant paper that can be recycled in any class 1 or PE plastics system and it embodies the cradle to cradle philosophy. Limelight is available in various weights/thicknesses; it is compatible with UV, aqueous (special order), litho and screen printers and is available up to 50 inches wide. It is ideal for back-lit or front-lit posters, bus shelters, kiosks, scrolling signage, airport, transit signage and more. Limelight is perfect for those who are looking to produce quality graphics with minimal environmental footprint.
Descor is a high-quality, printable textile used primarily in decorative applications. It can be mounted into a special frame system or hung in traditional fashion. It may be printed with UV, Screen or Dye-sub and a digital/solvent printable version (Digital Descor) is also available. This product is truly unique and meets the most stringent industry standards for structural materials including the IMO, M1, B1, NFPA701, CSFM and various other certifications.
