In any salesroom, glass surfaces always catch the eye, making them ideal for displaying advertising messages. But their downside is that the motifs printed on the digital printing film shine through and appear back to front on the reverse.
Thanks to its extremely high opacity, ASLAN's double-sided, white blockout film ensures that the print can't shine through?even when lit from behind. Unlike with other films, the adhesive side simply looks white. As a result, this type of film is particularly well-suited to applications on glass panels and doors.
Up until now, most users have opted for a white film and enhanced the opacity with a grey or black adhesive. However, this approach has two major disadvantages. First, the adhesive shines through and makes the white film look grey, and second, the colored adhesive leads to unwanted color appearing on the reverse.
ASLAN DFP 25 can put a stop to all that. The double-layer, white PVC film is completely opaque. An additional bonus is that the white reverse can also be used. For instance, digitally printed, transparent films or plotter-cut lettering can now be applied to it.
To protect the sign from vandalism and malicious damage, a transparent film with a back-to-front print is first applied to the inner side of the glass and then the white blockout film is placed on top of it. This process creates a double-sided printed image that cannot be removed from the outside.
Digital prints can be applied to the white, glossy, double-layer, soft PVC film using any common solvent/eco-solvent/mild-solvent or UV curable ink. ASLAN DFP 25 has a guaranteed minimum outdoor durability of three years, a material thickness of ~ 180 µm and comes in a 25 m x 1.37 m format.
Another bright idea that underlines ASLAN's leading position in the glass-decoration film segment.
