T-350 Dual Tabber

Rena Systems, Inc. has introduced a new automatic tabbing/wafer seal machine: the T-350 Dual Tabber. It is a product that has long been a request from the company's dealer and customer base: an affordable dual tabber with a built-in feeder. The T-350 Dual Tabber is a tabletop unit that delivers big performance in a compact, high quality package. Offering production speeds of 18,000 pieces per hour and a class-leading feature set, the T-350 is set to take the industry by storm!

The most intriguing feature is the Sprocket Tab Drive System the T-350 employs. This design uses 100% mechanical action to place and advance the tabs. The tabs are driven from our innovative center drive sprockets. The paper sensor simply triggers the tab drive and since it is a fixed pitch, placement is dead on every time. The integrated sprocket/peel-bar assemblies are adjustable, even while tabs are loaded, so fine-tuning tab placement is incredibly easy. The beauty of this proven design makes setup and positioning a snap while greatly reducing jams. It also eliminates sensing of the tab material so we can use crystal-clear Mylar tabs or regular paper and they all run perfectly.

The fanfolded pin-fed tabs themselves are unique to the T-350 and available exclusively from RENA Systems. There are several advantages of fanfolded vs. rolls, the first being ease-of-use. The fanfolded strips are easy to handle and load, with none of the complex threading of roll tabs. They come in super convenient boxes of 30,000 that make handling and storage simple. In fact, the T-350 comes with a stainless steel shelf/backing guide assembly to hold the boxes. RENA fanfolded tabs unload from the top, so as the tabber runs it pulls equal resistance from start to finish and positioning holds true. Our fanfolded tabs are also made from the highest quality materials so they perform better than any other pressure sensitive wafer seal. RENA tabs are made locally in Pennsylvania and we stock them by the truckload, so availability is never a concern and prices are very competitive.

?The T-350 is a feature-rich, easy to use dual tabber that offers class-leading precision and functionality with the legendary quality that only RENA offers,? said William Longua, Director of Marketing for RENA. ?The new T-350 brings high quality and affordability together, the way only RENA can. Manufactured here in the US by skilled craftsmen, it is quality you can see and feel as the T-350 clicks away at 18,000 pieces per hour.? Longua added.

The digital counter lets operators track batches and job totals. The T-350 is the only dual tabber in its class to offer Infinitely Variable Speed Control with Position Guard (reduces unintentional changes). We can do this because our simple, yet elegant Tab Position Sensor is adjustable on the fly. The T-350 can act as a feeder only, with its Tab Bypass feature. The backlit function buttons clearly indicate status. For safety and convenience the feeder switch has a reset function that automatically turns off should the power fail, preventing unintentional start-ups.

The feed system on the T-350 is one of its most dynamic features. The high capacity hopper holds over 300 tri-fold mailers for fewer interruptions. The proven separation system can feed materials in any orientation, not just one like some units. The T-350 isn?t just the most affordable dual tabber on the market with a built-in feeder, it is the only convertible. The feed hopper assembly can be removed, changing the T-350 from an off-line tabber to an in-line unit, complete with input guides and transport rollers. In addition to that, the T-350 has a feeder interface to control the Start/Stop of external input devices.

Nick von der Wense, President of RENA stated, ?In the past, we have been known for bringing new machine ideas and sound supply sales opportunities to our channel whose value represents savings in meeting USPS requirements. The new T-350 is all of these, a great product that saves the customer?s time and money. We believe in today?s environment businesses must have reliable and sound equipment that delivers more than expected, so it is our expectation that this product will do so in spades.?
