The most intriguing feature is the Sprocket Tab Drive System the T-350 employs. This design uses 100% mechanical action to place and advance the tabs. The tabs are driven from our innovative center drive sprockets. The paper sensor simply triggers the tab drive and since it is a fixed pitch, placement is dead on every time. The integrated sprocket/peel-bar assemblies are adjustable, even while tabs are loaded, so fine-tuning tab placement is incredibly easy. The beauty of this proven design makes setup and positioning a snap while greatly reducing jams. It also eliminates sensing of the tab material so we can use crystal-clear Mylar tabs or regular paper and they all run perfectly.
The fanfolded pin-fed tabs themselves are unique to the T-350 and available exclusively from RENA Systems. There are several advantages of fanfolded vs. rolls, the first being ease-of-use. The fanfolded strips are easy to handle and load, with none of the complex threading of roll tabs. They come in super convenient boxes of 30,000 that make handling and storage simple. In fact, the T-350 comes with a stainless steel shelf/backing guide assembly to hold the boxes. RENA fanfolded tabs unload from the top, so as the tabber runs it pulls equal resistance from start to finish and positioning holds true. Our fanfolded tabs are also made from the highest quality materials so they perform better than any other pressure sensitive wafer seal. The digital counter lets operators track batches and job totals. The T-350 is the only dual tabber in its class to offer Infinitely Variable Speed Control with Position Guard (reduces unintentional changes). We can do this because our simple, yet elegant Tab Position Sensor is adjustable on the fly. The T-350 can act as a feeder only, with its Tab Bypass feature. The backlit function buttons clearly indicate status. For safety and convenience the feeder switch has a reset function that automatically turns off should the power fail, preventing unintentional start-ups.
The feed system on the T-350 is one of its most dynamic features. The high capacity hopper holds over 300 tri-fold mailers for fewer interruptions. The proven separation system can feed materials in any orientation, not just one like some units.
