Melissa Data announces the release of WebSmart – a collection of customer data validation and enrichment services that allow users to add the power of geographic and firmographic information to their Web site, CRM system or other business contact process. Among the services that will be available are: Address Verifier (domestic and international), Phone Verifier, Email Verifier, Name Check, Geocoder, IP Locator, and NCOALink Move Update change of address service.

Address Verifier: Address Standardized and Verified with USPS (includes ZIP+4 and other elements) or Canada Post for Canadian addresses
Phone Verifier: Area code and prefix updated and corrected
Email Verifier: Syntax corrected, invalid characters removed, MalieXchange check
Name Check: Gender, first name, middle name, last name, vulgar word flag, suffix, and prefix
Geocoder: Latitude, longitude, ZIP+4, census block and tract, and other elements
RBDI: Residential or business delivery type indictor
IP Locator: Network type, city, region, country, ISP and domain name, area code, longitude, latitude
NCOALink Move Update: Process records in real-time* against the USPS 48-month NCOALink database to update mailing information and return undeliverable as addressed mail.
