Toshiba America Business Solutions Inc. (TABS) and Ringdale Inc. today announce the release of FollowMe Embedded Hybrid for Toshiba e-STUDIO multifunction products (MFPs). This latest FollowMe development from Ringdale, the foremost authority on secure document output management and accounting, provides direct front panel selection of print jobs, cost code assignment and on-demand user enrollment on all Toshiba e-STUDIO MFPs with e-BRIDGE 3 architecture through the use of Toshiba’s Open Platform technology. User benefits include increased security through control panel authenticating and print/delete functions at the machine, dramatically reducing paper and toner waste by only printing what is really needed.

Through the use of the e-STUDIO front panel, FollowMe Embedded Hybrid enables users to walk up to any device and after authenticating themselves, view their individual print job lists and select which jobs to print or delete. By having the option to delete print jobs before they are printed, unnecessary paper and toner waste is reduced, contributing to “green savings” and corporate sustainability.
FollowMe Embedded Hybrid for Toshiba also allows users to directly assign cost codes for tracking and cost recovery purposes. Additionally, the solution allows on-demand user enrollment of identification cards, which frees up IT administrative time and effort.
