Anchor Software, LLC, has announced an enhancement to its Variable Data Printing (VDP) software - MaxPrint.
MaxPrint now offers enhanced extraction and importation of documents created in Quark and PDF file formats. Documents created in PDF and Quark formats can now be quickly imported into the MaxPrint design module allowing users to easily change graphics, text or other document attributes.
The transition of documents, which are designed in file formats such as Quark and Adobe PDF, to documents that require merging of variable data and then printing those personalized documents on high speed printers has always been challenging. Differences in formats and fonts can also be problematic. Now, with the new MaxPrint enhanced features, documents originating in these file formats can be accurately composed and printed with minimal reformatting effort.
Documents created in MaxPrint, such as invoices, statements, and letters can be archived and subsequently searched for and retrieved based upon various criteria including account number, surname, address, etc.
"We are extremely proud of this capability. It will allow our customers to provide their clients a higher level of document accuracy in their document workflow process. We feel that these enhancements will ensure that our customers have the tools they need to compete in today's challenging VDP marketplace" said Gary Siegel, President of Anchor Software.
MaxPrint, Anchor Software's industry-leading document preparation program provides easy design and composition with little or no specialized training.
