BÖWE BELL + HOWELL announced an agreement to integrate JETVision software technology into the Lasermax Roll Systems? WebVision product line. Both companies are already providers of print integrity and quality inspection systems, and the combination of these proven technologies will broaden the capabilities of future WebVision products.
With increasing printer speeds, the rapid adoption of color printing, and the common use of barcodes, automated quality inspection systems are an essential part of any high-performance print line. The newly integrated WebVision systems, powered by JETVision software, will enable customers to automatically inspect and track every image produced on virtually any digital printer, ensuring that production quality standards are met and costly errors are minimized.
?In today?s highly competitive market, it is critical that companies optimize the quality and impact of every communication piece they send to clients, yet still minimize production costs,? said Roger Spitzig, president of BÖWE BELL + HOWELL?s Software Business Solutions group. ?Lasermax Roll Systems is an industry leader in the print business, and we are very excited to partner with them on a solution that helps customers deliver the best product and achieve their goals.?
?Lasermax Roll Systems has enjoyed a strong relationship with BÖWE BELL + HOWELL for many years,? said Bill Carroll, president and CEO of Lasermax Roll Systems. ?The expanded resources available through this agreement will benefit us in making customers? print operations more effective. The continued development of our WebVision systems is a key component of this strategy.?
The partnership will allow each company to focus on its core strengths to best serve its customers. Accordingly, all quality control systems designed for print operations will become part of the WebVision product line sold and serviced by Lasermax Roll Systems and its distributors. BÖWE BELL + HOWELL will continue to offer its JETVision products to non-print operations.
