BASF To Increase Prices for Key Latex Products
BASF will increase its prices by up to $US 0.04 per wet pound.
Effective Feb. 15, or as contracts allow, BASF will increase its prices by up to $US 0.04 per wet pound in the United States and Canada for all Styronal styrene-butadiene latex products, all Acronal styrene-acrylic latex products and all Basonal multi-monomer latex products used in the paper market.
This action is being taken as a result of increases in raw materials, in particular styrene and butadiene, coupled with freight related increases and higher energy costs.
