Shaughnessy Recycled Gloss and Silk

New paper combines ecological and economical benefitsin a 10 percent post-consumer waste economy house grade


Shaughnessy, a national paper distributor, announced the introduction of a new grade of economy paper produced with recycled materials. Shaughnessy Recycled Gloss and Silk is made from 10 percent PCW (post-consumer waste) and is FSC certified (Forest Stewardship Council).

That means it follows strict chain-of-custody (COC) requirements that ensure that every company involved in producing, transporting, or using the paper, from the forest to the printer, is FSC certified to promote proper forest management. The new paper offers printers, businesses, and designers who specify paper the option of securing environmentally-friendly paper choices for customers at an economical price point.

The paper is offered in either a gloss or silk bright white finish and in weights ranging from 60 to 100 lb. text and in 80 or 100 lb. cover stocks. The Shaughnessy Recycled Gloss and Silk grade offers a high level of performance to meet the needs of a wide variety of applications from annual reports to identity systems to brochures and other collateral, displaying a versatility and durability that delivers crisp images and vibrant color with superior runnability.
