Toshiba America Business Solutions has introduced the monochrome e-STUDIO500P digital laser printer. Designed to replace the e-STUDIO400P, this model offers faster processor and print speeds, increased memory, and a higher duty cycle. Powered by a 514 MHz processor, the printer produces 50 ppm with an 8.5-second first print out time. Resolution is true 1200x1200 dpi and it features standard PostScript 3 and PCL 6 emulations. It is rated for a duty cycle of up to 250,000 pages per month and supports a variety of operating systems. The unit comes standard with 128MB of RAM, which can be expanded to a maximum 640MB of RAM. -
